Class 1 Driver Trainer

We are looking for a Class 1 Driver Trainer to join our team to support our terminals throughout Western Canada. TAG Logistics Corporation is based out of Acheson, AB with runs throughout Western Canada and the Territories.

Role

Your role as part of our team of Driver Training professionals is to ensure drivers are evaluated and trained to meet our company and government standards.

You will coach and train drivers to ensure they are prepared to successfully be a valued member of our team.

This position requires the willingness to travel and stay out of town regularly.

Qualifications

To be successful in this rewarding position you will need the following:

• Must hold a valid Class 1 License
• Clean 5 year commercial drivers abstract
• Minimum 5 years of Class 1 driving experience
• Minimum 3 years Long Combination Vehicle experience
• Minimum 2 years Rocky Mountain Double experience
• Strong computer skills with the ability to utilize several training mediums for instruction
• Strong attention to detail and regular follow ups on outstanding tasks or initiatives to ensure completion in a timely manner
• Reliable personal vehicle
